Play Wordle-Style Games in Spanish and Portuguese (Free, 4 to 7 Letters)
Wordly team · Roghan Games · October 23, 2026
If you like Wordle-style word puzzles and want to play them in Spanish or Portuguese, this is made for you. Wordly is a free browser game with no sign-up, with its own real word lists in Portuguese, Spanish and English, and two ways to play: the daily challenge and an unlimited mode.
What you get
- Real word lists in three languages. Portuguese, Spanish and English answers and guesses come from lists written for each language, not from translations.
- Four lengths. Words of 4, 5, 6 and 7 letters, each with its own list and statistics.
- Daily challenge. One new word a day in each length, the same for every player in that language.
- Unlimited mode. A fresh word every round, no daily limit, so you can practice as much as you like.
- Past days. A calendar for playing the challenges you missed.
How it plays
You have 6 tries to find the secret word. After each guess the letters get colors: green when the letter is right and in the right place, yellow when it is in the word but somewhere else, and gray when it is not in the word. Use those clues to reach the answer before the tries run out.
Why it helps with language learning
Playing in the language you are studying is a light way to see real words and correct spelling. You can switch the game's language from the site's language selector, so you can alternate between Spanish, Portuguese and English. The game does not teach grammar, but it exposes you to real vocabulary every day.
How to start in three steps
- Open the game in your browser, on a phone or a computer. There is nothing to install and no account to create.
- Choose the language, the word length and the mode: daily challenge or unlimited.
- Type an opening guess and use the colors to close in on the answer.
Your data stays with you
Wordly does not ask for an account: your history, statistics and streak are saved in your own browser. If your streak matters to you, always play in the same browser.
Wordly is an independent game, with no connection to Wordle or The New York Times.
Example: three minutes of Wordly a day
A simple way to fit the game into your routine while seeing real words in the language you study.
- Morning: play the 5-letter daily challenge with a fixed opener.
- Lunch: open unlimited mode in 4 letters for a quick round.
- Evening: if you have time, play 6 or 7 letters and note down one new word.
- Weekend: use past days to catch up on a challenge you missed.
Common mistakes
- Waiting for an app to play. Wordly runs right in the browser, with nothing to install.
- Playing in different browsers. History is saved per browser.
- Mixing languages by accident. Check the site's language before you start.
- Ignoring unlimited mode. It is ideal for practice without touching the daily streak.
Practice plan for this week
- Pick the language and word length that suit you.
- Play the daily challenge at the same time every day.
- Use unlimited mode to practice an opener.
- Note one new word a day and look up its meaning.
