Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 19, 2026.
Who we are
The Wordly website is operated by Roghan Games LTDA, a company based in Brazil. This policy explains in plain language which data the site uses, why, and what rights you have under Brazil's General Data Protection Law (LGPD) and, where it applies, the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
What stays in your browser
There is no sign-up or login. To remember your progress, the game saves in your own browser (local storage) the words you have tried, your games and your statistics (games played, wins, streak and best streak), plus a flag that you have seen the “How to play” window. This information stays on your device and is not sent to us. You can delete it at any time by clearing the site's data in your browser settings.
Technical access data
As with any website, the hosting server may record technical access data, such as IP address, browser, page visited and time, to keep the service secure and running. This logging is done by the hosting provider and used only for security and diagnostics.
Advertising and third-party cookies
Wordly is free and may show ads, including Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies and device identifiers to serve ads, measure their performance and, when you allow it, personalize ads based on previous visits to this and other sites. You can manage personalization at adssettings.google.com and www.aboutads.info. To learn how Google uses data from partner sites, see policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, we ask for your consent through a consent message before using advertising cookies. Details are in the Cookie Policy.
Usage analytics
We use Google Analytics (Google LLC) to understand, in aggregate, which pages are most used and to improve the game. It measures visits, page views, device type, country and language, and may use cookies or identifiers. For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, cookie-based measurement is off by default until consent is given. You can block measurement with Google's opt-out add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Why we use data and the legal basis
We use technical access data under the legitimate interest of keeping the site secure. Advertising and analytics cookies and identifiers are only used with your consent where the law requires it. The data stored in your browser only makes the game work and stays under your control.
Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by providers that serve us, such as the site's hosting and advertising platforms. Some of them, such as Google, may process data outside Brazil, using the safeguards required by law.
How long we keep data
Game data stays in your browser until you delete it. Technical server logs are kept by the hosting provider for as long as needed for security. Advertising data follows each partner's policies.
Children
The game is open to all ages and does not ask anyone for personal data. If you are responsible for a child, you can turn off ad personalization in your Google and browser settings.
Your rights
Under the LGPD and the GDPR you may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymization or deletion, portability, information about sharing and withdrawal of consent. Since the site does not keep your personal data on our servers, the quickest way to erase what exists is to clear the site's data in your browser. For any request or question, write to contato@termo.fun.
